This is a title sequence design for the movie Children of Men. In the movie, people are living in a world where children are no longer born. The world collapsed by armed soldiers, terror, and depression. However, people still have good memories of children and miss the world where children existed. Also, some people did not give up on the will to change the world. Therefore, this title sequence focused on a “hope” that still exists in the dystopian world. The music box in the dystopian world represents hope in a desperate situation. A music box is an object that people can think of happiness, childhood nostalgia, and good memories. Also, a music box has a sound of music that represents the sound of children that no longer exist in the world. I wanted to show the value of life and hope by showing the music box played in a dystopian world.
